Welcome to the CQUeST Group II Workshop 2022!
This workshop is organized by the Group II of the Center of Quantum Space-Time (CQUeST) at Sogang University as an annual workshop starting from 2021.
The CQUeST was initiated in 2005 as an outstanding Science Research Center (SRC) through the fund by the National Research Foundation of Korea for 9 years. In June 2020, CQUeST received additional 9 years’ support as a University Research Center (중점연구소) under the theme: “Gravity, Cosmology and Particle Phenomenology: A Multidisciplinary Approach Towards Quantum Spacetime” and consisting of three research groups. The theme of the 2nd group is “the Effective Field Theory Approach in Gravity and Cosmology”.
The goal of this workshop is to bring the experts in the relevant areas of research of Group II, e.g., cosmology, modified gravity, string theory, black hole physics, and astroparticle physics phenomenology.

The offline venue is at Jeju National University.
The program will be organized in two categorical sessions as in the Timetable-OverAll. The morning session consisting of lectures by invited speakers is online only; the afternoon session will consist of the offline discussion sessions and online seminars at Jeju National University
